Luminous Color Workshop

This is a sketch from Shari Blaukopf’s online course. Ultramarine Blue, Alizarin Crimson and Cad Yellow were used for the street scene from San Miguel. Lots of work with window detailing and shadows for this sketch.

Here we practiced loose saturated washes with one color. Making sure the colors stay wet it key for vibrancy no matter what type of paper you choose. I used Saunders Cold Press for most of the course.
